Sue Smith and Bill Shane, founders of the Interfaith House of Worship Tour, are former Directors of The National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ). For three decades, they have been leaders in the Orange County Interfaith movement and continue to work with almost 20 interfaith organizations in Southern California.

The Interfaith House of Worship Tour sponsored a unique and spectacular 15 day trip to Egypt, Jordan and Israel from March 11-25, 2018.

In the spirit of interfaith and multicultural respect and understanding, this Interfaith Trip brought together a wonderfully diverse group of approximately 40 participants, led by Christian, Jewish and Muslim leaders from Orange County, CA, plus local professional guides in each country.

Members of the Trip visited religious, cultural, archaeological and historical sites in each of the three countries, while viewing and sharing their experiences through the different religious perspectives. In addition, special and unique experiences (i.e. meeting with the Coptic Christian Pope, enjoying a special program with the Ethiopian Jewish community and participating in multicultural programs in Israel) added to this once-in- a-lifetime experience.
